Reddit 論壇網站全美流量排名第 7、全球流量排名第 21，每月活躍用戶多達 4.3 億人。近期 Reddit 宣布將運用區塊鏈技術推出社群積分幣（community points），引起全球矚目：
Reddit 將在特定子版塊（subreddit）中，推出全新的獎勵機制 —— 社群積分幣。用戶對 Reddit 子版塊的貢獻越多，就能賺得越多社群積分幣，並用它來兌換各種獎勵。但社群積分幣並非通用於整個 Reddit 網站，每個子版塊都會有專屬的社群積分幣。
